Revised
This notice sets out what sodatideweightloss.com records about visitors, the reason each item is recorded, how long it is kept and what you can ask us to do about it.
Who operates this site
sodatideweightloss.com is an independent publisher covering the SodaTide supplement. We do not manufacture SodaTide, we do not hold stock, and we do not operate the checkout. Purchases complete on the seller's own platform under the seller's own privacy notice, which you should read separately.
What reaches us
Things you choose to send
If you email us, we hold whatever you put in that message — typically a name, a return address and the question itself. It is used to reply and nothing else.
Things recorded automatically
Our hosting and analytics layer logs the technical detail every web server sees:
- Network address, truncated or anonymised wherever the tooling supports it
- Browser build, operating system and whether the device is a phone, tablet or desktop
- The page you arrived from, the pages you opened and how long each was on screen
- Country or region inferred from the network address — never a street-level location
- Timestamp of each request
This material is examined in aggregate. We do not attempt to resolve it to a named individual.
Cookies and tracking
| Category | Why it exists | Turning it off |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Page delivery and basic security | Not possible without breaking the site |
| Measurement | Aggregate traffic and page speed | Browser settings |
| Referral attribution | Records that a purchase came from here | Block third-party cookies |
Clearing or blocking cookies is entirely your call. Blocking the referral cookie changes nothing about the price you are charged.
Why we hold anything at all
- Keeping the site online, fast and secure
- Working out which articles are useful and which need rewriting
- Answering messages sent to us
- Reconciling referral commission
- Meeting obligations we cannot opt out of
We do not sell personal information and we do not hand it to advertisers for their own campaigns.
Where your data goes when you buy
Clicking an order button takes you off this site. From that moment the seller's platform governs your data, including every detail of the payment. Card numbers, billing addresses and order contents never pass through us and we could not retrieve them if asked.
How long things are kept
Aggregate traffic data is retained only while it remains useful for understanding the site. Email threads are deleted once the matter is closed, unless a record has to be kept for a legal reason.
Keeping it safe
Traffic is encrypted in transit and the server sends modern security headers. No system is impenetrable, so we make no absolute promise, but the protections in place are proportionate to the very limited data we hold.
Age
This site and the product it discusses are for adults. We do not knowingly gather information from anyone under 18. Tell us if you believe we have and it will be removed.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may be entitled to see what we hold, have it corrected or erased, limit or object to how it is used, withdraw a consent you previously gave, or opt out of any sale or sharing. California residents have specific rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA; residents of the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area have rights under the UK GDPR and GDPR respectively.
Write to support@sodatideweightloss.com to exercise any of them. We reply inside the period the applicable law allows.
Do Not Track
No agreed standard exists for honouring the browser "Do Not Track" header, so this site does not change its behaviour when one arrives.
Revisions
This notice is updated when our practices or the law change. The revision date at the top always reflects the live version, and anything material is flagged on this page.
